I am a self-taught artist with over 40 years of artistic expression including dance, theater, and visual arts. Trained in science and microbiology, I see the world beyond our vision and use this experience as inspiration for many of my works. I have attended classes in abstraction, composition, and color to better understand the creative process and techniques that allow me to present my vision.
I have also attended the Fine Arts Work Center in Provincetown, MA, a historic New England community settled by artists and Portuguese fishermen who have blending the town into a world class art enclave renowned for its natural light. My art is shown in galleries on the Atlantic coast from Massachusetts to Georgia and is also currently showing in the gallery district in Denver Colorado.
I am inspired by accomplished artists such as Robert Rauschenberg, Jackson Pollack, Anselm Kiefer and Gustav Klimt.
